So all of these things that Silas told Caroline were things she got from her head.

Which means:

-She was thinking about what Elena said about Klaus
-She was thinking of Klaus leaving her
-She was thinking of maybe going to New Orleans
-She was thinking of Klaus
-And also Silas could have showed up as any of Caroline's friends or as even Tyler,s eh would have listened more.

Klaroline just needs to happen.

Also in that forest scene, I really thought he had killed her :( I was like noooooo!

And P.S. Joseph Morgan looked pretty hot in this episode ;3 .
