A lot of fans have been
asking and wondering about the new character Silas (the imprisoned
immortal) and what he looks like. Is he a doppelganger of Professor
Shane? Another look-a-like pair? Or is Silas more capable of what we
never thought was possible? Does he have other powers? And if he was
showing himself as hallucinations, was he a hallucination while he
talked to Bonnie? Or we he physically standing before her? That brings
us back to the look-a-like thought, could their really be another pair
of doppelgangers?
“As far as we know, Shane on the island has met his terrible demise, although we did not see him take his last breath. You never know on this show,” teases Julie.
David Alpay who plays Professor Shane is a recently new character, a new part of the cast. Personally I would be sad to watch him go so soon; he’s only been there for like 5 episodes and I like his character. We don’t even know that much about him; we know he had a wife and a kid that died but that’s all the background we have. Plus they can’t kill him off just yet; Bonnie would die without him helping her with Expression. Or she would become evil and hopefully get killed off the show because I don't really like her character.
